The best to both worlds
Many people are tired. Every end of the night they feel exhausted. Fatigue is their nickname. The other people are feeling uncomfortable. They like complaining over things. Anxiety is their bestfriend.
Allah says in the Qur'an which means:
"Indeed, mankind was created anxious" (Al-Ma'arij [70]: 19)
"Indeed, mankind was created anxious" (Al-Ma'arij [70]: 19)
"We have certainly created man into hardship." (Al-Balad [90]: 4)
Indeed both tiredness and apprehension or worry is our nature. That's why we are terribly in need of ease. Sure, we do like to be helped or to be pleased. Good news is Allah has provided us the solutions we need. In fact He is The Provider of all things.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve." (Al-Baqarah [2]: 277)
"Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve." (Al-Baqarah [2]: 277)
Allah says in another place in the Qur'an:
"As for he who gives and fears Allah, And believes in the best [reward], We will ease him toward ease." (Al-Lail [92]: 5-7)
"As for he who gives and fears Allah, And believes in the best [reward], We will ease him toward ease." (Al-Lail [92]: 5-7)
Al-Qurtubi said regarding to the 7th ayah of the surah, "it means that Allah will guide him to take causes or good deeds that will ease his business." Ibn 'Abbas commented about the meaning of ease in the ayah, "It means goodness." And Zaid ibn Aslam said that ease means paradise.
All of the tafsir lead us to beautiful comprehension that giving would bring us ease and goodness not only in this dunya but also in the hereafter. In fact our charity would shield us from the hellfire.
Adi ibn Hatim reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Guard yourself from the Hellfire, even with half of a date in charity. If he cannot find it, then with a kind word." (Bukhari and Muslim)
Don't we want our tiredness, grieve and anxiety to be relieved? Don't we want to be saved from the punishment of Allah in the Akhirah?
Start giving today, don't delay!
