THE SIGN WHEN YOUR RIGHTEOUS DEEDS ARE ACCEPTED

Alhamdulillah, All praises be to Allah for He has given us the ease to fast and make so many good deeds in the previous month. We hope as well that you've successfully passed through the blessed month with a bunch of reward and forgiveness from Allah. And amongst the characters of a good Muslim is to be worried about his deeds, whether they're accepted or not.

Allah says in the Qur’an meaning,
❝And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. ❞ (Al-Mu'minoon: 60-61)

Well, that's natural. You've struggled a lot, exhaust your energy, spent your time, and wealth to perform any kinds of worship you're obliged to. Surely you don't want those deeds become meaningless and you don't want to harvest nothing in return. So, is there any sign showing that our deeds are accepted or rejected?

Hasan al-Bashri, a tabi'een (student of the Prophet's companions) said:
‘The reward of righteousness is another righteousness’

Ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee said in his book Lataif al-Ma’ārif,
"If Allah accepted one's deeds, He will give him taufeeq (guidance) to do another deeds."
.
If we reflect on our situation after Ramadan to the scholars' words, we should then ask ourselves: What is the quality of ours? Do we continue to fast 6 days in this month of Shawwal? How about our Quran recitation? Do we put it back to the shelf for the whole next 11 months? And how about our charitable deeds? Would we keep our wealth from the hands of the weak and the needy?

Save the answer for ourselves.

Ramadan might ended, but worship season is not over yet. "And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death)." (Al-Hijr, 15:99)

Ramadhan usai, Ibadah selesai?

Sebagaimana sabda Nabi kita,
(Muttafaqun 'alaih)

Dibawa terus Qur'annya kemana-mana, ya!
